Anchor Link Street Outreach provides services to youth ages 14-21. Its primary purpose is to connect youth experiencing homelessness with needed resources in order to create a stable housing plan.
In 2022, Anchor Link distributed 9,627 survival aid items including blankets, hats and gloves, food, hygiene and health items to youth. Counselors conducted 974 life skills sessions and we had 82 walk ins to the drop in center on South Broad Street. An increasing number of youth took advantage of the bathing and laundry facilities as well as the computers, to write resumes, apply for jobs and search for housing.
