Life Skills

Providing an environment for learning life skills is essential in order to break the cycle of homelessness. Life Skills provide the education and competencies for youth to gain self-esteem and build connections within their lives.

The Life Skills Program offers flexible, accessible, ongoing life skills training to prepare youth for independence in adulthood. This support is tailored to each individual’s needs and interests. Youth 14-21 who are currently involved in the child welfare system  are eligible for this program with a referral from the youth’s DCP&P worker.
